[The feed opens with boxes on Kakashi's bed. The sound of a fire crackles somewhere off a ways, like he's created a small one in a bin in his own room. Kakashi moves about, transferring books from his shelves into the boxes as one of the cats nosily peeks into the box and follows his movement. When Kakashi speaks, he's talking to himself.]

...need to find a carrier for you guys when this snow lets up...

...can't put away any clothes. I might need those.

[He glances at the PCD, and then does a short double-take.]

Hm. Figures...

[Jean is reminded of his Colonel. He's got a feeling he's being poked at a bit here, not that he doesn't have a big smile on his face still and a small chuckle on his breath.]

I think t'avoid th'Colonel fryin' me alive, I'll have t'pass and only speculate. I think it's in your best interest too. [There's a short pause followed by a hesitant voice, only because he's not used to doing this, his place back home is hardly big enough for him.]
Y'know, I got a couple rooms here you can board if y'want until somethin' else tickles your fancy.

[Oh, they're rather alike-ish~ Just a little. Loves dogs, miniskirts, that kind of thing. Kakashi's got no ambitions to be Fuhrer, though.]

I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not really a very good housemate. I'm sure I'll find something quickly enough. I'm not very picky.
